Here are some Bridal FAQ’s
Your Wedding Hair and Makeup trial can be booked as soon as you like; some brides prefer to have a trial straight away after enquiring but most choose to have theirs 2-3 months before the wedding date as our hair and skin (and minds!) can change so much throughout the year. This is around the time you’ll be thinking about hair colour services and skin treatments in the run up to your day and a similar time to your dress fittings.
The trial will be a really relaxed experience and also gives me an opportunity to understand your hair and skin type. With the help of images you’ve found, accessories and of course the style of your dress; we have around 3 hours to try a few different styles to ensure that you’re completely happy with your selection ready for the day.
The trial takes place at my comfortable home studio space that has good natural light, professional mirror and lighting setup, seat with adjustable height and a sofa area so that you can still bring Mum’s or Bridesmaids for those all important second opinions on your Wedding Hair and Makeup!
On your wedding day I will be by your side to ensure you look amazing and you feel as calm and relaxed as possible. I will arrive bright and early at your wedding venue or home and will be with you right until the point your cars are departing or registrars are ready to whisk you away! After your Wedding Hair and Makeup trial, I will help you put together a schedule for your wedding morning that allows you lots of time to get your dress on and have some pictures with your photographer. I only do one wedding a day though so that each bride has my undivided attention the morning of her wedding and that there is absolutely no rushing off. I’m lucky enough to have worked with hundreds of brides, it’s a busy morning but I’ll be with you until you’re dressed and ready to go and to help with finishing touches, getting dresses on, buttonholes and flowers out of the water!
If you are getting married abroad or would like to do your own makeup, a bridal makeup lesson is a great option.
Starting from the basics through to any specific areas you would like to focus on, together we will chat about product options, look at what products you already use and how they can be incorporated. There are a few things to consider with bridal makeup for example; whether a product contains high levels of SPF or titanium dioxide as these won’t always work if your wedding photographer uses flash for the photo’s.
Tips, techniques, personalised advice, full make up application, a face chart and product recommendations are included. I am not associated with any cosmetic brand so all advice is completely impartial.
